Love is calm and comfortable, if you have to manipulate someone into loving you, then it’s not love at all. The best kind of love is the kind that grows over time. Love that starts out smoldering with friendship and burst into a flame of love and respect. When their happiness means more to you then your own. When you show genuine interest in them as a person and hurt when they hurt. When you try to protect them by keeping a secret or watching their back. When hurting them hurts you more and last but not least when an earnest apology brings you closer.
