My ancestor Pvt. Caleb Carr fought in the Revolutionary War, in the Sixth Regiment of the “Connecticut Line”. He fought under Captain Martin Kirkland Company, commanded by Colonel Jonathan Meigs. Pvt. Caleb Carr enlisted on February 21, 1778, he was discharged on December 31, 1778.
Pvt. Caleb Carr, is from W. Greenwich, Rhode Island but enlisted in the war in Sterling, CT where his 1st wife Robey Hopkins is from. Pvt. Caleb Carr is the father of 23 children with 3 different wives.
