~ ♥ Lilac’s Heaven ♥ ~

Our Vegas trip this year was the best (minus my step brothers death).  Bruce had to be out there for a conference “Blackhat”, a computer security venue that they hold in Vegas every year.  We were able to do a lot of things while we were out there, we took in a show called “Bite”, we again ate dinner at “The top of the world”, and of course both Bruce and I won some money playing the slots.  We walked up and down the strip and took a few taxi’s to Rio, The Palms and to The Harley Store (Bruce was looking for a Buell shirt and hat).  Of course we drank a bit too much at night, but not as much as some crazy people we saw there.  We ate at so many different restaurants that I was getting sick of food by the time we left. 

I have a trip to Vegas planned with the girls next year in June’ish.  So now I need to save, save, save!!  It will be piano bars, The Thunder Down Under, and more Carnival Court dancing!! Look out Vegas the A-team takes the blonde with the Asian to Vegas, you never know what “fun” may happen!!

For several years now, I have been suffering from a dislocated hip that no matter what I did, it just would not stay in place.  This past spring I found a wonderful doctor down in Athens, OH.  He discovered that my hip was dislocated in two places and suggested “Prolotherapy” shots to help the cartridge build back up in order to keep my hip in place.  After several months of just water aerobics, I just went to see my doctor and we rejoiced in the fact that my hip is still in place and I have permission now to get on the treadmill.  YEAH!!!  I need to build up my muscles around my hip to make it stronger and more flexible.  Now to work on my shoulder….
