Happy Anniversary Baby!! 16 years of ups and downs and we’re still here, loving each other and our life together. You are the breath in my lungs, the blood in my veins, the vision in my eyes. I love you more then words can say.

So, if words can’t say it well enough, how about a Sequoia?! ummmm…referring to the Toyota, that is. hehe!

Sorry I didn’t put a bow on it for you Baby! I’ll know you’ll love driving it anyway. :-)

Happy 16th Anniversary Baby!!!

Our family MS walk is next weekend at the Columbus Zoo. We have a group of over 50 people walking this year. I highly recommend doing something good for someone else other than yourself. It is amazing the difference you can make in someone else’s life.

Bruce and I will be celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary this month. Wow, time sure does fly when you’re raising a family. It is hard to believe that I have known Bruce for over 22 years now. We started dating when we were just babies basically, being all of 16 years old. Through all that time, he has NEVER deliberately tried to hurt me emotionally. That says something about how much he loves and respects me. No marriage is perfect and if you actually think yours is, then you are lying to your self. Neither Bruce or I deliberately try to emotionally hurt each other. We actually respect each other, like each other and love each other.

When he proposed to me, he took me to a hot tub place and we had a romantic evening relaxing in the hot tub. He had picked up some sparkling grape juice and two flute glasses. We were sipping our sparkling grape juice when I noticed that as I got to the bottom of my glass there was a ring in the bottom. Right then and there Bruce got down on his right knee and asked if I would be his wife. I was brought to tears. Of course I said yes…

On April 25, 1992 I officially become Mrs. Leslie Westbrook. To this day Bruce says he is the luckiest man alive, I know there is one other person who would agree with Bruce.

We don’t have any birthday’s this month, but I thought I would remind everyone to LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH!! Spring is here and everyone is healthy and happy.
