Kids at Work Day

April 26th, 2007 . by Bruce

Today was “Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day“, so I (Bruce) took all three kids to the office for the day. They had a total blast! CorpOne had plenty of things for them to do. They got to tour the office, play games, meet other kids, “shadow” me for about an hour (which turned into creating drawings on my office white board), and more. For lunch even Lisa came over and we all ate Pizza at the office with the rest of the kids. Then they spent the afternoon playing games, earning CorpOne “money”, and spending it at the CorpOne “store”. They even learned a little about credit unions. What a great experience!

You can see all the pics over at our Picasa album, but here are a couple to start with.

Gators Win!

A friend of ours (thanks Deb!) who moved from Ohio to Jax shortly after we did sent us the pic above. How ironic that our Florida Gators destroyed not only OS(P)U’s opportunity for the football national title, but also their basketball title?!?! GO GATORS!!!

Happy (Belated) Easter!!

Easter

Happy frozen Easter to all. Yes, it was a cold and frigid Easter this year in the midwest, but we got to enjoy a delicious ham dinner with family.

April Fools

April Fools

Well, Lisa got me good this morning. I’m in the shower and she walks in with a disheartened look on her face.

“Honey, the basement’s flooded.”
